It is only a year ago that young Liam Payne came out with a poignant Christmas ballad, full of seasonal longing and Yuletide pathos. All I Want (for Christmas) was (is) a lovely piano-vocal ballad that was the first of what is hopefully an annual Christmas single from Mr Payne. This year, he's gone 50 shades of sassy with the flirtatious new single Naughty List, a perky romp which sees the One Direction alum team up with TikTok star Dixie D'Amelio. Cheeky jingle bells and vibrant chimes dance gaily alongside a finger click groove whilst both Liam and Dixie confess their tales of post-Christmas party shenanigans that led to the most festive and salacious of hook ups. It is a clever conceit for a song and one that potentially transcends the season - a laid back, dance gem with a sing-along refrain that will stay in your head until way past New Year.
