29 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!

Yay! Just two years after Ms Kelly Rowland taught us that she could Love You More At Christmas Time, she's returned to the festive catalogue of songs to wish us a Merry Liddle Christmas Baby (the title of the new original Lifetime movie she stars in). Part of the soundtrack to the motion picture is her own reimagining of the Andy Williams classic, It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year. With the inventive duo of NOVAWAV on production duties, the song is transformed into Wonderful Time - a sizzling disco tinged yet contemporary dance floor ready rebirth. With the misdirect of the traditional sounding opening bars, Ms Rowland comes ready to (ahem) sleigh as the beat drops and a textured layer of keyboard chords and pulsing percussion drops to wrap her vocal in a toe-tapping array of slick beats. Christmas at the club sounds just intoxicating and while you grab the one you love and shimmy, there are enough jingles and classic sounding backing harmonies to make you feel tingly satisfied from head to (mistle)toe. The production partnership is one made in heaven (or at least the north pole) as Kelly sounds in her absolute element, spreading funky joy to the masses. It is joyful AND triumphant!
