25 DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS!!
Check out my review of Bruno's Santa Claus Is Coming To Town here
It may only be a week since I discovered pop singer Bruno Alexander's 2014 festive entry, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, but I'm already thrilled that he's recorded a song to celebrate the holiday season this year round too. It's double your fun that you can enjoy over a delightful egg nog. This year he's tackled Winter Wonderland and it's just as charming and intimate as his previous effort. All the elements that worked so well with his performance of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town are present here and sparkle just as brightly this time round too - I love that it feels like Bruno is entertaining the guests at your party in your own living room. His easy flowing, mellifluous singing style adds an engaging personality to the seductive, romantic lyrics whilst that lilting accompaniment brings an element of seasonal magic. It combines to create an aura of sweet courtship against the backdrop of the endless possibilities that Christmas seems to suggest. Bruno is the most excellent raconteur; a most welcome suitor for your seasonal affection. That it seems so natural, effortless and organic is a testament to this talented young chap's ability as a singer. Be sure to play this loud and often during December and then gift yourself some of his music, available on an iTunes near you :) Oh, and if he wants to do a full Christmas EP next year (I'm sure Daniel Volpe and Charlie Mason could whip up a joyous original) then I'll be a-ok with that...
