Nashville based duo, Bien, proclaim to make dreamy pop and they sure as heck ain't wrong about that. They earned their Christmas credentials with the charming festive opus, Holiday Cheer back in 2019 - an album that has been an essential part of my Yuletide playlist for 3 consecutive Decembers now. They add to their Noel themed song list by gifting us with a brand new composition this very year. Voices of the Children reminds us that much of the world's innocence and hope comes from seeing life through the eyes of the young; there is magical whimsy in the enchanting lyrics whilst that blend of piano, guitar and intertwined voices makes this an essential listen that will lighten even the most weary of souls. The song has a natural crescendo that culminates with (what else) perhaps the best use of a children's choir accompaniment since ABBA's I Have A Dream.  Snow excuses, you should be adding this melodic delight to your holiday playlist right now...
