Jubël ft Christopher - My Only Wish

One of my favourite things of doing a 60 day new festive countdown to Christmas each year (now in its tenth year!!) is that I get to not only hear some of my favourite artists doing holiday songs but also get to discover new acts I'd previously been unaware of. Sometimes, life is serendipitous enough to deliver both - as has happened with Jubël ft Christopher and their new song, My Only Wish. I've followed Christopher's career for ten years, seeing him go from creative strength to strength but Jubël are new to me. It is a pleasure to hear their styles blend together on this mesmerising new song - as elegant and graceful as their sartorial choices on the single's cover art. Chilled out synths and a shoulder-shimmying beat swathe this yearning, romantic pulsing pop gem in wintry vibes with Christopher giving a great vocal. Jubël's electro-pop approach works perfectly for this type of song with Christopher being the most amiable and engaging narrator of the internal monologue. An essential addition to your holiday playlist. Now go tell everyone you've ever met about it.
