I love it any time that ace 90s pop siblings, The Triplets, continue to release music. I love it even more when it is at the most wonderful time of the year. Six years after their last Christmas single, Love Is The Only Gold, the trio are back with the heavenly and uplifting Christmas Angels Sing. This is a wonderfully bombastic new carol. At times there are charming acoustic moments with just guitar and vocals, others the production amps up the pomp and circumstance to heavenly new heights, leaving you feel joyful and triumphant. The ladies are in full celebratory mode, recognising the true meaning of the season through their ebullient performance - and such harmonious energy is completely contagious. They know how to make spirits bright through the inflection in their tone and flourishes of instrumental in the score. Perfect song for not only marvelling at the magical production but to help elevate you when you need a spiritual boost at this oft-commercially chaotic and crazy time of you.
