It has now been 20 years since Girls Aloud released their third pop album, Chemistry - an impressive body of work that spawned them hit after hit (yet inexplicably didn't make the top ten album charts). For a limited time, a free bonus disc came with that album full of Christmas songs - affectionately known to fans as Christmastry. With a deliciously camp cover art, Festiv Gifts (aka Xenomania) helped the lasses cover four holiday classics while creating four new Girls Aloud future festive faves. And that's exactly what they've become. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of this bonus album, it's been given its own title (Christmas Round At Ours) and re-released so that those who missed out first time around can add it to their collection. 

There's an extra track to keep things fresh and up to date too - a remix of original song, Not Tonight Santa (now known as the Christmas Party Mix). It remains a devilishly seductive love letter to frisky Christmas Eve shenanigans ("ooo, you give me something I could never get from Santa Claus" makes the mind boggle with the possibilities). Adding to the  galloping pace set by the pogo-ing synths and pulsing drums are swirling beats as radiant as the first snow storm of the season. Throw in a few chiming bells and it has a real feel good vibe that's as breathtaking as a speedy sleigh ride on a cold winter's night. Clever lyrics and rhyming couplets that would make Des'ree jealous mean you'll be singing this way into New Year.
