Last Christmas I gave my heart to Cliff Beach and his glorious alternative holiday sounds of Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. This year, he's rewarded me with an additional track to add to that playlist in the form of his own unique take on the Yuletide classic, Jingle Bells. It is a stirring, a cappella take where the vocals recreations of the instrumental sound are so textured and vivid you;d almost believe you were on Santa's sleigh travelling around the world at the speed of magic. Cliff's effusive singing gallops through the verses, bringing festive fun to every word, beat and sparkle. It is a taut two minutes but showers glorious glitter every step of the way.
