27 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!

If you pop on down to the Ghosts of Christmas Past section, you'll see that Nicki French has been synonymous with Christmas music for a fair few years now. She celebrates the 8th anniversary of her A Very Nicki Christmas opus by expanding on it with some remixes, interim singles and five brand new songs to make your Yuletide gay. Nicki knows how to throw a jolly decent holiday party and the latest additions to her seasonal song list are just as infectious as the ones that are now your old favourites! Play Christmas Everywhere all in one run and its a bobby dazzler of a collection - so shimmy under the mistletoe and get ready for some fabulous festive forays...
- Home For Christmas ~ crack open the Terry's Chocolate Orange Baileys, get your jingle bells jingling and mince your pies because the first new song is an instant dance classic that you will be to bop around the Christmas tree to. There's a jolly excitement to the peppy percussion as Nicki sings of being in the best place she can be at the most wonderful time of the year. With a chorus so contagious the NHS will be developing a vaccine, you can't go wrong when you sing along! Written by the always ace Gordon Pogoda (who also wrote Christmas Everywhere)!
- It's Always Been You ~ a gorgeous, luxurious start to the song (with a spoiler alert about it having a happy ending) blends into a shimmering mid-tempo ode to togetherness. Nicki is a natural raconteur, spinning her inner most thoughts as a compelling yarn. There's something very ABBA-esque about it, not just because of lavish backing vocals but the balance between strength and vulnerability in Nicki's vocal. The radiant finale will leaveyou feeling both merry and bright!
- This Christmas Night ~ the tempo slows as Nicki finds her self finding love, actually, right next to the vol-au-vents and Bucks Fizz (probably). This is a very charming slowie, filled with romantic sentiments and dreamy lyrics. Again, her choir of angels singing her song add to the delightful texture of the music and make everything feel just that little bit more magic. Exactly the type of double A sided single (with Home For Christmas) that used to be top ten every Christmas!
- Christmas Everywhere ~ with a pulsing rhythmic groove that would help Santa's reindeers race around the world, Nicki is in love again - this time with the enchanting spell that the holidays cast. Talking of magic, this is some sort of musical alchemy with Nicki delivering feel good vibes and exhilarating excitement about the big day arriving. Oh, and rhyming Kris Kringle with every SINGLE day and bells JINGLING is just elf approved brilliance. So many festive references you can create a bingo card!
- Longer - the final newbie is another seductive ballad, letting the bells chime and lyrics linger so that you get to savour every single moment. It's not necessarily a Christmas song per se, but that doesn't matter. In the same way Keeping The Dream Alive seemed to embody everything about the season, so does this mellifluous gem. Play whenever the commercial chaos of Christmas gets a bit much - and then keep it as the perennial Christmas song you can play all the live long year...
